Shivam College of Higher Studies (Pharmacy), has been established to promote the advanced
Pharmacy education to fulfill the healthcare needs of society and to contribute to the cause of nation building. SCHS (Pharmacy)
is running under the aegis SEH AND C TRUST. Managing committee of the Institute
looks after the affairs of the Institute.
Overall, there's high demand for Pharmacist in India and especially in
Bihar. According to an article of ‘India Today January 2010 edition’, “by
2015 there will be shortage of Pharmacist in India and by 2020 the shortage will increase . The
Pharmacy field in recent years has been characterized by significant growth, much of which has been achieved through an increase in the number of
Pharmacist being trained in the Bihar, but it hasn't been sufficient to end all staffing shortages. Recent increase of Salary by Bihar Government and recruitment plan shows a very good future for B.
